Loud Noises Cause Panic at LAX

Trigger Warning:
Loud Noises!
A series of loud noises Sunday night at Los Angeles International Airport led to panic amid reports of an active shooter:
Reports of a shooter inside a terminal at Los Angeles International Airport sparked evacuations and a halt to traffic in and out of the sprawling transport hub late Sunday night, but police later said it was a false alarm caused by loud noises -- not gunfire.

The LAPD said they were investigating after receiving at least two calls reporting a possible active shooter, but later released a statement saying it was “proven to be loud noises only, NO SHOOTING/NO INJURIES.”

The Federal Aviation Administration implemented a ground stop for flights departing for LAX from airports west of and including Minnesota as the investigation unfolded. The FAA later amended the ground stop to include only flights departing for LAX from within about one hour’s flying time.

It was not immediately clear how many flights were affected, or how serious delays would be on Labor Day morning.
This is the world that Obama's judicious use of "smart power" has created, ladies and gentlemen.  Terrorism has become so rampant in the West that people panic whenever they hear a loud noise.

November can't come fast enough.
